The Praktica L2.. The 'thunderous' applause SLR.  Whenever i use this camera the mirror is like a slap louder than any other 35mm SLR I've used..

Bronica EC

Thursday Mar 03, 2016

Thursday Mar 03, 2016

The Bronica EC is a heavy camera, however it is a thing of beauty! I mean.. Just look at that! A true work of art!
Nothing like the plastic craptastic cameras of today. Metal, leather.... chrome... and beautiful!

The Lubitel II

Tuesday Feb 23, 2016

Tuesday Feb 23, 2016

The Lubitel II. What can I say about it, other than it's actually a fun camera to use with a fairly sharp T-22 75mm lens. It's simple to operate and works really well, aside from the absolute worst focusing screen I have ever used on a TLR. Sure, it's bright, but it has the smallest spot for focusing. Hair ripping out teeth grinding Hulk Smash kind of thing.

The Kodak Brownie Hawkeye

Friday Feb 19, 2016

The Kodak Brownie Hawkeye (Flash).. A plastic camera with a glass lens.. I really like this camera, actually.. and yes..I really did stick it in the oven!

Thursday Feb 18, 2016

The Kodak Pony. My model is the Model C. It's a 35mm Scale focus camera, bakelite body and very simple operation. 4 speed shutter ..1/25 1/50 1/100 1/200 +B.. Cock the shutter, set the distance, set the speed, f-stop... point.. click... done!Check one out!

The Halina 35x

Wednesday Feb 17, 2016

Wednesday Feb 17, 2016

This.... camera... is one of those cameras that ... honestly, unless you got it for free or were paid to take it.. You've over paid! They are horrible monstrosities that should be deep-sixed any chance you get.Horrible little pieces are garbage!

The Yashica M5

Tuesday Feb 16, 2016

Tuesday Feb 16, 2016

The Yashica M5 is perhaps one of the oddest and more rare of the Yashica cameras, but not a collectible. It is simple to operate. Just pop in a battery and set your film speed. There are three aperture settings. Wide-Open.. ƒ/8ish and ƒ/16ish.. The rest is up to the camera..Just look through the viewfinder, adjust your focus and click!

Fuji Instax Wide 300

Monday Feb 15, 2016

Monday Feb 15, 2016

The Plastic Filmtastic camera from Fuji that takes their wide line of films. It's fun to use, simple to operate and still makes people sit in awe and wonder as they see the photo come to life before them. With a plastic 2-element lens and an almost focus free operation, you just point... click... and you're done!Just remember for people shots, try to keep it at least from the waist up or more..  That SHOULD be around 3m away... But most importantly... have fun!Cheers

The Kodak 35RF

Sunday Feb 14, 2016

Sunday Feb 14, 2016

The Kodak 35RF is a very simple camera. Designed by adding a bit of ugliness to an otherwise sultry looking camera, the Kodak 35, the Rangefinder option makes it almost look like a camera infected by "The Borg" from Star Trek. Although the camera is not exactly the nicest looking (usually found on the UGLIEST camera lists) it does have that certain something to it..Oh who am I kidding. It's just simply ugly! There is nothing else to it.. Well.. it does have a nice lens!
